Shaquille O’Neal has officially added another occupation to a résumé that stopped making sense years ago.

The NBA legend was named an honorary FBI special agent, continuing his lifelong mission to apparently try every job available in the United States.

Shaq has already been a Hall of Fame center, television analyst, businessman, DJ, law-enforcement supporter and roughly 40 other things. Federal agent was apparently just sitting there waiting to be unlocked.

There is, however, one obvious concern.

At 7-foot-1, Shaq may not be the ideal choice for covert surveillance.

“Blend into the crowd” becomes a difficult instruction when the crowd contains exactly one former NBA MVP who is taller than every doorway in the building.

Stakeouts could present similar issues. There are only so many vehicles capable of hiding Shaquille O’Neal without raising questions.

Still, the FBI has clearly improved its interior defense.

And if any suspect attempts to escape through the paint, the bureau is now extremely well prepared.
